This October half term, discover frightfully fun family activities at Discover Bucks Museum! Get creative with hands-on Halloween crafts, including making a colourful yarn-wrapped hanging spider and web, create a spooky 3D flying ghost scene, and sculpt yourself a terrifying (or not so terrifying) clay monster. Budding scientists can join our Spooky Science sessions to mix bubbling witches’ brews, create oozy ogre slime and enjoy eerie experiments. Brave families can also take on our Creepy Doll Hunt, exploring the museum in search of some unsettling hidden residents. Alongside all the Halloween fun, don’t miss our immersive SAXONS exhibition: Three lives. Three burial sites. Three extraordinary stories, and enjoy the Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery, which is open every day throughout the October half term for imaginative family adventures. Packed with hands-on exhibits, the gallery brings Dahl’s beloved stories to life in a fun and engaging way for children and families.
