How did Roald Dahl use inspiration from real life for his books?

We’ll be exploring the inspiration behind some of Dahl’s best loved stories and making our own souvenir bookbags inspired by our museum collection.

This workshop will begin with a short storytelling session: if you wish to take part in this portion of the workshop, please arrive promptly for 11.00am.

This workshop is recommended for children aged 5-11 years but all ages are welcome.

Please note: parents are required to remain in attendance throughout this activity.

Cost: £6.50 per child, accompanying adults and under 3s free

Date: Friday 13 June 2025.

Time: 11.00am – 12.30pm
