Using Roald Dahl’s The Enormous Crocodile, this fun Key Stage 1 workshop focuses on the characteristics of predators that make them so fearsome. Combining storytelling, natural history and craft, this session has everything a teacher would want for a wondercrump day out with their class.

- Identify and name a variety of common animals including fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals
- Identify and name a variety of common animals that are carnivores, herbivores and omnivores

In a typical 90-minute session pupils will:
- Take part in an interactive storytelling of The Enormous Crocodile
- Discuss the characteristics of predators
- Observe real predators from our museum collections
- Make a predator puppet to take back to school
