Discover Ducks – Christmas
Thursday 3 & 17 December
Join us for a Christmas themed Discover Ducks session filled with stories, songs, games, playtime, a craft activity and a mini museum trail. Designed especially for under 5s and their parents or carers, these sessions offer a fun and friendly way to explore the museum together.
These sessions are suitable for children under 5 years old.
£5 per under 5year old (accompanying adult is free)
Timings: 10.30am – 12pm
Home Education Day: Christmas Through the Ages – SOLD OUT
Wednesday 10 December
Learn all about how Christmas traditions from the past in this special workshop for home educating families!
This workshop is recommended for children aged 4-10 years but all ages are welcome.
Please note: parents are required to remain in attendance throughout this activity.
Cost: £6.50 per child, accompanying adults and under 3s free

Elf Disco
Sunday 6, 13 and 20 December
Join our Christmas elves for a cheeky festive disco with music, dancing and games in the Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery!
Dress in your brightest festive clothes and let off some holiday steam. Disco sessions take place at 1pm and 3pm – giving you time to enjoy the Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery beforehand.
These sessions are suitable for children aged 4 – 8.
Included in your Standard Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery admission charge. Limited availability, book now to avoid disappointment.

Storytelling with Santa
Saturday 19 December
Join us for ‘Storytelling with Santa’ in the Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery, where magic meets imagination! Join us for a heart-warming experience that brings the joy of the festive season to life. Storytelling takes place at 10:30am, 12:30pm & 2:30pm. Afterwards enjoy a festive biscuit from our museum café.
These sessions are suitable for children aged 3-10.
