Discover Bucks Museum unveils new star addition to Beyond the Stars exhibition – Nessie the Loch Ness Monster puppet from Doctor Who!
Discover Bucks Museum is excited to announce a brand-new highlight in its popular Beyond the Stars exhibition: the NEW Nessie the Loch Ness Monster puppet (or should we say Skarasen), which features in the Doctor Who, Tom Baker era story Terror of the Zygons with updated special effects.
The puppet, recently remade for the release of Doctor Who: The Collection – Season 13 Blu-ray, makes a special appearance at the Museum just in time for fans to enjoy a close-up look at this iconic creature from the Whoniverse.
This rare opportunity is part of the museum’s blockbuster Beyond the Stars exhibition, celebrating science fiction, creativity, and fandom.
But be quick—the exhibition closes on 5 October, so visitors only have a short time to catch a glimpse of Nessie before she disappears back beneath the waves!
Key details:
– Beyond the Stars exhibition runs until 5 October 2025
– Special feature: Nessie (Skarasen) puppet from Doctor Who: Terror of the Zygons
– Ties in with the Blu-ray release of Doctor Who: The Collection – Season 13 on 20 October 2025
