We’re looking for fun, enthusiastic families to take part in a professional photoshoot at Discover Bucks Museum!
We’re inviting a small number of families to spend a couple of hours enjoying and exploring the museum, while a professional photographer captures natural moments of family fun, discovery and adventure. The photographs and videos will be used in future Discover Bucks Museum marketing and promotional materials.

No modelling experience is needed, we simply want real families enjoying a real visit.
The Photoshoot
Location: Discover Bucks Museum, Aylesbury
Duration: Approximately 2 hours
Date: Sunday 20 September
Time: 10am – 12pm or 1pm – 3pm
You’ll be photographed and filmed enjoying different areas of the museum including:
• The Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery
• Museum galleries
• The garden
• Café
Our photographer will capture natural moments rather than formal posed photographs.

Each participating family will receive:
An ANNUAL Family Ticket to the Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery & Discover Bucks Museum
A selection of digital photographs (where possible)
The chance to feature in Discover Bucks Museum’s marketing

Applications close: 1 September 2026
You will need to be available for the photoshoot on Sunday 20 September.
Successful families will be contacted directly.
Photography Consent & Privacy
As part of the photoshoot, all participating adults (and parents/guardians on behalf of children under 18) will be asked to sign a photography consent form.
The photographs and video may be used by Discover Bucks Museum for promotional purposes including:
• Website
• Social media
• Printed leaflets and posters
• Press and PR
• Advertising
• Exhibition and visitor marketing
• Fundraising and membership communications
How Long Will We Keep and Use the Images?
To comply with UK GDPR and data protection best practice:
• We will ask for your explicit consent before taking and using photographs.
• We intend to use the images for up to five years from the date of the photoshoot.
• After five years, we will review whether the images are still needed. If not, they will be securely archived or deleted.
• Printed materials, publications or campaigns already produced during the consent period may continue to circulate after this date until stocks are exhausted.
• You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will stop using your images in new publications and digital content as soon as reasonably possible. However, we may not be able to remove images from materials that have already been printed, published or distributed.
Your personal information will be handled in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.
