Join us on Sunday 22 February for a special event with new author Mark Creasy, who will be reading from his exciting new children’s book Simon Smith: Schoolboy Spy.
Simon isn’t just an ordinary schoolboy – he’s an aspiring spy! This captivating tale of friendship, intrigue, and espionage unfolds in a quaint English village where every character has a hidden role to play. Beneath the surface of everyday life lies a web of secrets, leading readers on a thrilling journey full of imagination, mystery, and discovery.
After the reading, children can try their hand at being spies themselves as Mark leads a fun, interactive craft activity — introducing different codes and ciphers to solve, before using their new skills to write their own secret spy messages! The event will finish with a book signing, giving families the chance to meet Mark and take home a signed copy of Simon Smith: Schoolboy Spy.
