Learn all about how Christmas traditions from the past in this special workshop for home educating families!
What did the Romans celebrate in December? Would you have liked to go mumming? Which historical Christmas treat had a whole song dedicated to it? Learn the answers to all these questions and more, try out some traditional Christmas crafts and try out some traditional Christmas games.
This workshop will begin with a short interactive discussion of historical Christmas traditions: if you wish to take part in this portion of the workshop, please arrive promptly for 11.00am.
This workshop is recommended for children aged 4-10 years but all ages are welcome.
Please note: parents are required to remain in attendance throughout this activity.
Cost: £7.00 per child, accompanying adults and under 3s free
