Join us for our FREE family craft day, children and adults can have a go at lots of different techniques from clay to print to jewellery.
No need to book, just turn up. 10am – 3pm.

Printmaking
Come along and print your very own lino print; Nathalie Pymm has created a few little lino cuts for you to choose from. Roll out some colour and print it out for you to take home.
Jewellery
Turn found objects and everyday disposable items into up-cycled funky jewellery with designer maker Kate Wilkinson.
Ceramics
Make a relief tile with Sophie Court, using cutters, stamps and textured mats then decorate using slips. The tile will be fired and glazed. To be collected at a later date.
Illustration
Have fun learning how to draw both The Snowman, and The Snowdog with Hilary Audus, who Animated and Directed on the Classic Christmas Films.
These activities will take place in the Museum pebble rooms which can be accessed from the garden. If you would like to see the rest of the Museum and the Crafted Exhibition you will need to purchase a Museum entry ticket (Discover Pass) on arrival which gives you access to the Museum galleries for 12 months. Already a Discover Pass holder? Please don’t forget to bring your pass with you. Kids go FREE in the Museum.
There is a special Children’s activity sheet for the Crafted exhibition, pick yours up at reception.
In the CRAFTED exhibition watch some of the artists demonstrate how they create their beautiful pieces.
