Holy Cow Community Events and Buck Heroes (a Discover Bucks Museum project) are excited to invite you to a very special art workshop to make sustainable Willow Lanterns as part of the 2022 Festival of Lights Celebration.
The designers of the lanterns and their families will be invited back to see them both on display in our new Bucks Heroes Community Gallery at Discover Bucks Museum over October half term (24 – 29 October 2022).
There will be an opportunity to participate in the Milton Keynes Digital Light Festival on the 8th October if participants wish to attend (more details will be given nearer the time).
The expectation of all lantern designers is that they can attend our Aylesbury Festival of Light Parade on Sunday 30th October at 4.30-5.30pm so please save the date! Lanterns can be taken home on Sunday 30th October after the parade or picked up from Tuesday 1 November at Discover Bucks Museum (please check our opening times here.
