A small display of Nigerian wedding clothes made from a material called, aso-oke (pronounced ah-SHAW-okay) which translates to ‘top cloth’ in English . Aso-oke is a traditional material created by the Yoruba people of Nigeria. This handwoven fabric represents high status and is apt for wedding attire in West Africa.
